The Birthday Girl

So I know this is a couple of days late, but the last post explains why!

The day started out great! She got to wear her Birthday Crown that dad made for her to wear to school so that everyone would know it was her Birthday. The wonderful mom that I am, took cupcakes to her whole class that afternoon! When she got home, I could tell that she was trying to have fun but she just wasn't her self. By 6:00pm she had a fever and was crying because she didn't feel good. By 7:00pm she was in bed and is still sick to this day.
To make it up to her we will go to Chucky Cheese when she is feeling better and she will get another cake. She thinks that is pretty cool because it will make three in total!

Ever since she could talk she has told us that she wants to study horses when she grows up! So when someone in our ward was giving away this big horse I knew it would be loved and Rylee would take good care of it for the little girl who was growing out of it!

She also got a new DS Game that she wanted for Christmas and santa didnt bring her. We rock and got it for her!!

It was perfect timing with the new game. With her being sick she as played it for hours!

A House Full Of Sickies

Welcome to a house full of Sickies. We have all been sick except Brandon, who never gets sick.

Our boor little Easton has some crazy bronchial infection and has to have breathing treatment every four hr. As if that wouldn't bee bad enough he also has two ear infection.

Ashlynn has two ear infections and Pneumonia.

Rylee, the poor thing got sick on her Birthday. She has Strep Throat

And Im just a bad combo of all there crap!!

So with lots of rest, antibiotics, breathing treatments and soup, it's been a little crazy over here!

The Girls enjoying there new Piano

We May Be A Little Crazy!

So I have been looking for a old antique upright piano for a really long time now. I look an Craigslist every day and I have found some really good deals, but they are sold so fast that when I call on them they are already gone.

When I found a old baby grand we called right away and they said we would be added to the list. Brandon offered them $100 to be moved to the top of the list and they happily agreed!!

He gathered up a bunch of friends and they are picking it up right now!

It will need a lot of work but it will be really fun to work on it together and see the finished product.

I will post pic when it gets here. And I will post pic this summer after we re-finish it!!

Our Little Man

I love this little guy so much, he is just so cute!!! There is definitely two men in my life! Brandon and Easton you know who you are!!!

Crafty

I have been loving to do crafty stuff lately! Whether it be sowing or making some new thing for the house. The cheaper the better! I love to go to good will and find crap and turn it into something cool! I have so much inspiration from friends out here who are amazing at this. But my new found love is in Photo Shop!! It is so fun! Here is a combo photo shop and craft all in one. I am going to frame this with vinyl lettering that says Please remove your shoes, and put it in our entryway!! I have had so much fun I just wanted to share

Some New Photo's of our Easton

We had a cold couple of weeks recently. Poor Easton could hardly move in his jacket

Easton is now crawling all over the place and now pulling himself up on things all around the house!

Just being his happy self!

Here he is pulling himself up on the couch and walking down the length of the couch.

This is probably the funniest thing ever with him. For some reason he loves to crawl in between the washer and dryer and eventually gets stuck.

What happens when you let another child feed another.

So..... Michelle and I were getting dinner (breakfast for dinner) ready for the kids today and Ashlynn asked if she could feed her little brother. We said that she needed to try and keep it clean and not make a big mess.......This is what we saw!

Quote from Elder Richard G. Scott

While reading one of the conference talks the other night, I came across this great quote and thought that I could share it.

The inspiring influence of the Holy Spirit can be overcome or masked by strong emotions, such as anger, hate, passion, fear, or pride. When such influences are present, it is like trying to savor the delicate flavor of a grape while eating a jalapeno pepper. Both flavors are present, but one completely overpowers the other. In like manner, strong emotions overcome the delicate promptings of the Holy Spirit.

How Brandon likes to spend his Free Time!!

Ok, not really how he likes to spend his free time but how his lovely wife likes to have him spend his free time!! Doing projects around the house! I have to post this because Im so impressed with his skills! I just showed him a picture of what I wanted it to look like and gave him my $2 garage sale frame and he did the rest.

Here are some before and afters. This had a really ugly frame and we panted it black.

And here is the end result!
I had some really good pictures of Brandon working on it but when I went to download them I couldn't find them, I guess he knew what I was up to and didn't want that being seen by everyone!!

Our trip to see Santa

The kids had so much fun going to see santa this year. You would think it was a days long drive becouse Easton and Ashlynn fell asleep on the way home, It must have been all that excitment and cookie decorating that just wore them out!! We have started a new tradition last year. I dont know if you can call it a tradion if you have only done it two years in a row or not, but what the heck we dont have anyother traditions to name so Im going to call this one a tradition. Anyway, We went to Indiana to the Bass Pro shop and had a lot of fun in Santas work shop!!

Grandma Nielson was here......

When Grandma Nielson came to visit the birth of Dax (Bryce and Meghan's little guy) she spent some time with the girls and made some beed necklaces. She made sure to tell them that they came from the Great-Grandma Nona Moffat. The girls thought the name "Nona" was funny and this is what they were doing upstairs while brushing their teeth. Now, they stopped when they saw us, so we had to give them a little nudge to get going again.....Enjoy!

Rylee and Ashlynn Dancing

Here is one of both of the girls. They sure love their Miley Cyrus and Party in the USA.

Rylee Dancing - Circus

I figured we better put some video's of the kids on here. Here is the first one. This was a while ago, but Rylee sure loves to dance!

So much to be Greatful for

It may just be that time of year again! But I have to post how grateful I am for all of our blessings. Call me a sentimental sap but I have just been feeling so grateful for so much lately. Brandon and I are coming up on our 7 year anniversary and with it being so close to thanksgiving I cant help but be grateful for the wonderful family that we have. I am truly living my dream. A stay home mom with healthy beautiful children and a hard working devoted husband that would do anything for his family. what more could a girl ask for! I love my life

Easton's Photo Shoot

Recent Family Photo's

Here are some recent photo's that one of our friends have taken of our family. It had been a long time since we had family photo's taken (seriously a couple of years). We were so excited to see the results from the hot afternoon.
