New Marshmallow's and S'mores

Ok, so we found these new marshmallow's that are HUGE! They are about the size of three normal marshmallow's! We thought that they would be awesome for making some S'mores! Here are some of our pictures!

Grandma & Grandpa Nielson Came to Visit

Grandma & Grandpa Nielson came in to town this past week to visit. Wewere able to do a bunch of things such as going to the YMCA to go swimming,Louisville Underground Caverns and King's Island for a day of fun! Rylee was able to go on here first roller coaster! She was scared, but she did an awesome job! Thanks again for the fun times grandma and grandpa!

Elder's Quorum Skeet & Eat

So our Elder's Quorum needed an excuse to get together and have some fun, so what do we decide to do was to go and blow stuff up. I had never shot skeet before, that was a blast! I was just glad that I hit some on the first round out! After lunch, our Elder's Quorum President decided to break out the big gun......the 50 caliber! Try going out to Ebay to find this and your jaw will drop at the price of just the gun. We had a blast!

Long time Due

Ok so I have had so many people ask me when Im going to update the blog. I know its been a really long time. And I promise I will add some pictures soon. It has just been a really busy and Crazy time. As many of you know it has been a crazy year for us. We have finally gotten some answers and even though it is not the best news it is kind of nice to finally have some explanation. The new verdict is that the spots on my brain are consistent with MS, because of the location, I will need to have a new MRI every six weeks to re evaluate, The Neurologist told me that because of the kind of leesions that I have, MS will be my out come, but that they will wait to Diagnose me until I have more or until they are in a particular place in my brain. It may be in six weeks it my be in five years, we are going to just wait and continue to monitor them. As if that wouldn't be hard enough I also have either rheumatoid arthritis or fibromyalga. It is hard to tell witch on right now and I am trying some different treatment to help determine. So with the two of those and finding out how to eat with the celiace desies, it has been a really crazy time in my life. I know that the Lord will never give me something that I cant handle and I know that there is something I am suppose to learn form all of this. As hard as it has been I have also felt so much peace and comfort from our Heavenly Father and I know that he will always be there form me. We will get through this together. I have such a great Husband and he is a loving a amazing support to me. LIFE IS GOOD! I just wanted to update everyone and let you know Pictures will be up soon!!

Eastons Birthday

Ok so I know this one is a really late post too, but like I said it has been a really busy couple of weeks! So here's the big day. Easton turned ONE!

This is a couple of days later, but I think it is so cute that he likes to help so I thought I would post these too.




This little cutie is so fun to have in our family. There really is a special place in my heart for him. I don't know if it is because he is our only boy or if it is because he is or last baby or if it is just because of his sweet spirit, but in any case he is just a joy to have around. He is such a little cuddler and has just a sweet loving spirit. I would like to think that he is a mommy's boy! and he is when his daddy is not here, but as soon as daddy comes home he is a daddy's boy. He loves Rylee and Ashlynn so much and loves to play with them both in his own different ways. He laughs and plays crazy with Ashlynn, which is perfect for her personality and loves and snuggles on Rylee which is perfect for her little personality. I can't believe that a whole year has gone by. We all loving our little Easton being a part of our family and it just wouldn't be the same with out him! Happy Birthday buddy! We love you!

Things I want to Remember

So I have seen this on other peoples blogs and really like the idea. So this post is mostly just for me. I have been using this as a way to record whats going on in our family. I will end up printing our blog into a book and really wanted this to be in there. So here it is Things I want to remember

1. Ashlynns nick name is "little bums" They are just so little! I do need to say thou how much she hates it. Every time I call her that she says no I'm not little bums. She really want to be a big girl like Rylee and so she says I'm big bums. One day she will realize that little bums is a good thing!

2. I love how Easton just automatically knows what to do with Cars. No one ever showed him but he pushes them all over and makes noises. It is so cute!

3. Rylee is getting so big she thinks she is too cool for mom. She thinks she is smarter than everyone. This one is not so cute but maybe one day I will think so. No probably not.

4. Easton loves when his daddy comes home. He hears the alarm say "front door" and he has a instant smile and crawls to the door and gets him

5. This one maybe is part of #4 but that's ok. When Bradon is studding Easton crawls up the stars to find hi. I will go and bring him down and a couple of minuets later he is heading back up to get him. If he knows Brandon is home he just cant leave him alone.

6.Rylee is doing so good in school. Every report card she improves. I love to here her read. She is awesome!

7.Ashlynn loves to wear her swim suit. Or as see would say "swimm smoot" Even if it is 17 degrees outside. She always becomes attached to one or two outfits at a time and will wear them every day until they are so worn out I have to throw them away. Right now it is skirts, leggings, and a really small pare of striped stretchy pants. I have put them in the good will pile about four times, and somehow they keep ending up in her dresser. I guess I will let here use them for PJ's for a while longer!

8. Rylee has a little crush with the cutest little boy in our wsrd. I cant think of a cuter kid for her to like! He is also in her class at school and her teacher told me that they do everything together. They walk to the lunch room together, get supplies for each other, sit together, basically everything together. She tells me almost every day that she LOVES SAM! I went to pick Rylee up from their house one day after they babysat for me, and Sam told me that hi is IN LOVE WITH HER. It was so cute. I watched them play and they are two peas in a pod. We did have to have a little talk with Rylee about not being old enough for a boy friend!

9. Ashlynn is always the first on up in the morning. She comes in my room and the first thing she says is "mommy will you go down stairs with me" the second thing is "can you get me milk" I know its not too exciting, but the funny part is every morning I always say good morning Ash how was you night, did you sleep good? and I try to cuddle her, but all she is interested in, is going down stairs and getting milk!

10. Rylee has the craziest memory. Brandon and I are always amazed at all of the things she remembers from such a really long time ago. We where just having family Scriptures the other night and we where talking about how the golden plates where in the hill comara and she said "mommy remember when I stood by that fire place in Josheph Smiths house where he hid the plates after he got them" Brandon and I where so surprised she remembered that. It had been several years since we had gone there.

Shout-out to my Wife

So, as many of you know, Dental School has been such an overwhelming thing in our lives. It is constantly busy and taking up so much of my time. To add to that, I try and DJ and wash window's on the side. My poor wife has been so excellent at putting up with me these past couple of years with me not wanting to specialize, then thinking about, and then deciding not to again. She continually has to have nights by herself taking care of the kids while my nose is in the books trying to get through these classes.

She is such a great person for putting up with my stressful personality these past couple of years, especially during this recent semester as I am dealing with Oral Pathology (worst class in Dental School). I just want to tell her how much I love her and how thankful I am for her. She hardly complains. She is such an amazing person! We are almost there! One year, four weeks!

Loving the weather!

When Brandon was at the Priesthood meeting on Saturday I took the kids to the park! We had so much fun! The weather is just so amazing right now. We didn't come home until after 8:00pm! Oh yeah, that's another great part about the spring and summer, it gets dark so much later. Well, it can be a good thing and a bad thing. It makes bed time kind of hard. But when school is out it won't matter anymore! Anyways, here are some fun pics from our outing!















I think Easton has learned that when the camera comes out CRY! He did not like me taking his picture at all!





When I put the camera away he went back to playing and having the time of his life!
