Crazy Busy

I can't believe how buys the past couple of months have been. Life just gets so crazy sometimes. So lets play catch up!

Easton is Potty Trained

or lets say he pee's in the potty....pooping is a whole other sorry! I guess i cant complain because he has done it all on his own. So i will be patient for the pooping to come!!

So one day I think in the beginning of July he just decided that he was going to go in the potty and that he wanted to wear Big Boy Underwear! And that was that....he has been potty trained ever sense! He is the best little kid ever! So while im boasting abut how AWESOME he is, let me just tell you how much fun we have with this Little Guy.....he is at such a fun age. He coppie's every little thing we say (so watch your mouth)!! he is still a little coddle monster, he loves his big sisters so much and wants to be just like them....But the really fun thing is he LOVES HIS DADDY. He want to be just like him. He LOVES things that GO! He is on this BOAT kick right now and ask us about 100 times a day to "BUY HIM A BOAT" Its really cute! He loves plains, motorcycles, big trucks, helicopters, and just about anything that he can RIDE! what a fun little BOY!

Blogging gone Crazy!

I know I went from NOT blogging at all to blogging every little thing......But I have just been enjoying it so much! So I'm sorry if you've gone crazy with all my post. I just want to remember all the LITTLE THINGS that bring me so much JOY. Sometimes I have to remember to slow down and enjoy life. One of my favorite quotes lately is "There is more to life then increasing speed...focus on the things that matter most."

Side Walk Chalk EXPLOSION!

 Ashlynn our little ham!! She had the time of her life with the side walk chalk today. I found her covered   from head to toe in bright red and blue chalk....trust me the pictures don't do it much justice. She had it everywhere! Luckily it's washable.

She had to explain every picture to me and what it was!

A Day on the LAKE

Well we figure since we practically live on BOYD LAKE it was only the right thing to do, to spend the day across the street and have a fun filled day at the LAKE!! We went with some friends that moved in two doors down from us two days after we moved in.  We had so much FUN! We played on the BEACH, rented a WAVE RUNNER, and had a PICNIC! It was a BLAST!

Easton can't wait to get the show on the road!

We had so much fun at the fireworks!! Nothing like THUNDER OVER LOUISVILLE! but still way fun!



We were really surprised to get such a great spot because we didn't get there until 7:00 and Brandon had gone on a bike ride that morning and saw people already setting up camp....we parked and walked right up to this big open space right on the water...It was almost to easy!

A trip from the tooth fairy

Ashlynn lost her first tooth! It was so funny. We were on our way to the Denver zoo and she kept telling us that it is getting wiggler and wiggler.....the next thing we know she is holding her tooth in her hands! I think it freaked her out a little. She didn't really know what to do and was really suprized by the whole thing! I told her to pass me the tooth becuase she was tarting to get scared and she almost through it through the front window! After she got rid of it she started to feel a lot better and could't wait for the tooth fairy to come! It has been the talk of the week about how she finally lost her first tooth and now she is like Rylee! Way too cute!


I think she looks so little in this picture....way to little for a tooth to come out. Man my little girl is growing up!

Our Fun 4th of July Weekend

Tons of Activities

We took the kiddos to a Candy Store for a tour to see how they make CANDY!

It was so cute...they said it feels like a DREAM!

I have so much more meaning to a "KID IN A CANDY STORE"

There little faces just lite up! It was a blast!

At one of our local parks there is a little beach for swimming, unfortunately we had gone to the park for the fun little train rides they do and didn't have our suites. So we will have to try and swim another day. But we sure had fun getting our little TOES wet!

Our Little MAN!!

We are having so much fun with this little guy! He is at just a great age with so much personality! He is such a mamas boy.....But when dad is home he wants nothing to do with me and has to do everything with his DADDY! He has to always have his SUNGLASSES and HAT!

Fun with Grandma

Brandon's mom and dad had some work in Denver so we were lucky enough to hang out with them for a couple of days! Grandma Nielson's has a running tradition to do a craft with the girls every time we she her. So it was perfect that Rylee's new obsession is with DC Cupcakes, Cake Boss, Cupcake Battle and any other TLC or Food Network Show that is about cakes! They decided to make some fun cupcakes of there own. They had so much fun and they turned out so cute!

Some of the fun things we've done since our move to the Rockies!

We live really close to a great outdoor mall that does lots of fun events. In the winter they have a big ice skating rink and in the summer they play a move on a HUGE screen every Friday night. Lots of people show up hours before and set out their blankets and chairs on the big lawn. While we waited we played lots of fun games like balloon toss, hula hoop competitions and lots more! Then when it gets dark the movie begins!! It was a blast! the best part about it all is it is FREE! Free movie, popcorn, cotton candy, drinks, and lots of fun drawings to enter. Brandon answered a question right and won a bunch of fun coupons! I think this will be a family favorite!!





Saturday was a great Family day. We took a drive up to Estes park and the rocky Mountain National Park. It was GORGES!! the views wear amazing and the quaint little shops where lots of fun.....and we finally had some real Mexican food! Man its nice to be back in the West! The kids had so much fun with their little Junior Ranger books and are really excited to go back so they can earn they Official Junior Ranger Badges. We had a great day!


















Its going to be a great Summer.

We have spent the days walking around the money awesome lakes buy our house, and going to a different park everyday! We have found some amazing parks
